Lost Prairie Cabins is based in Marion, Montana, where each cabin is built in a working shop using traditional construction practices. Lost Prairie Cabins grew out of more than two decades of residential construction experience under Miller Construction, and those same standards continue to inform the way our cabins are designed and built.
Our Approach
We build a limited number of cabins each year. The focus is not on speed or volume. It is on doing the work properly and building something that will endure.
Our Background
Owner Jerry Miller has spent more than two decades working directly in residential construction and the building trades, including custom homes on Flathead Lake built to exacting standards. That experience now carries forward into Lost Prairie Cabins, from structural framing and timber work through material selection and final finish details.
Design & Engineering
Each cabin model is designed in-house and reviewed by a licensed professional engineer. Structural integrity is not an afterthought; it is built into the design from the beginning.
How We Work
Cabins are shop-built by hand in a controlled environment. Materials are chosen for real conditions. Responsibilities around delivery, site preparation, and utilities are clarified early so expectations remain straightforward.
